According to the Associated Press, the NBA has approved that Michael Jordan will officially own the Charlotte Bobcats. Jordan, 47, has been part of Bobcats organization for few years now and since he has been there, the Bobcats win percentage has improved a bit as each year has gone by if you look at the statistics.
"Purchasing the Bobcats is the culmination of my post-playing career goal of becoming the majority owner of an NBA franchise," Jordan said in a statement. "I am especially pleased to have the opportunity to build a winning team in my home state of North Carolina.
"I plan to make this franchise an organization that Charlotte can be proud of, and I am committed to doing all that I can to achieve this goal."
Here is a difference Jordan has made to the team's record since joining them in 2006. The numbers on the left side show the win percentages.
For 2010, Charlotte stands at a 34-32 record, or in other words, about a 50 win percentage.
